MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Candice Benjamin has 40 years of experience working in the field of education as a special education teacher, an educational consultant an exceptional student school specialist and a behavior specialist in three different states. She earned her graduate degree from Western Illinois University. She is certified to teach learning disabled, mentally disabled and emotionally disturbed children of all ages. She retired from the Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency in Iowa, where she conducted full and individual evaluations and determined eligibility for special education services, which included the administration and interpretation of individual standardized assessments, curriculum based measurement, and collection and analysis of behavioral data. Candice has been developing and teaching on-line graduate courses for credit through Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa since 2005.
Erin Ogden Is a graduate of the University of Iowa with degrees in psychology and linguistics. She earned her Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and currently teaches at Black Hawk College. Enjoying both travel and diversity, she has spent time teaching students in both India and Spain.
